Pastor Johnny became part a licensed and ordained member of the ministry team of Alpha and Omega Christian Center in October 2003.  The Dare family currently resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.  They are developing a core team able to impact the inner city with the Father’s heart of compassion and love.

John Dare is a well-seasoned pastor.  He came from a Christian Missionary Alliance background.  For as long as John can remember as a child, his home was always filled with visiting missionaries.  He came to Lord at the age of nine at a BILLY GRAHAM crusade.

By the age of 13, his peers treated him as an outcast of life because of his love for the Lord and the message of the gospel.  By 1986, John was part a Full Gospel church in Hayward Ca. where he met his spiritual mentor Pastor Quillan.  John became the youngest deacon and youth pastor in Full Gospel history.

In a move to an Assemblies of God church 3 years later, he became a youth leader in a church of about 5000.  There, he developed his experience in    working with the most troubled teens and family situations he had ever encountered.  He worked in repairing broken relationships, between child and parent; dealt with issues such as the occult, drugs, sex issues, abuse, mental and physical.

After marriage, John and his wife Jeaneen spent 12 years as part of a unique ministry in Anaheim called Set Free where he was pastor in both Southern and Northern California.  The Dares became involved in church planting and have felt impressed to direct their ministry toward restoration within the church body.

In particular, they sensed a call to restoration for those in the Ohio area.
