John Dare is a well-seasoned pastor.  He came from a Christian Missionary Alliance background.  For as long as John can remember as a child, his home was always filled with visiting missionaries.  He came to the Lord at the age of nine at a Billy Graham Crusade.

By the age of 13, his peers treated him as an outcast of life because of his love for the Lord and the message of the Gospel.

By 1986, John was part of a Full Gospel church in Hayward, California, where he met his spiritual mentor, Pastor Quillan.  John became the youngest deacon and youth pastor in Full Gospel history.

3 years later, in a move to an Assemblies of God church, he became a youth leader in a church of about 5000.  There, he developed his experience in working with the most troubled teens and family situations he had ever encountered.  He worked in repairing broken relationships between child and parent; dealt with issues such as the occult and drugs; mental, physical, and sexual abuse.

After marriage, John and his wife, Jeaneen, spent 12 years as part of a unique ministry in Anaheim called Set Free where he served as pastor in both Southern and Northern California.

"Pastor Johnny" joined the ministry team of Alpha & Omega Christian Center in October 2003 as a licensed and ordained minister.

Shortly thereafter, the Dare family moved to Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where they felt impressed to direct their ministry toward restoration within the Church body.  By selecting a core team, they set about to impact their inner city with the Father’s heart of compassion and love by sharing resources in an underserved community. In particular, they sensed a call to restoration for those in the Ohio area.

They remained active in their Ohio ministry until a new chapter brought them back to the Fremont area of Northern California, where they now seek to develop new ministry opportunities.
